Why you should sign your SWF

From Stems & Pieces

Vol 5 No 2 - Fall '87

Some of the SWF's we receive as members of the College Workload Monitoring Group do not have faculty signatures on them. This raises the question as to whether you ever saw what your chairperson submitted to the Group as your ``agreed upon'' assignment. We realize that you have no control over what your chairperson submits to the committee, however we do want to make sure that you know you have the right to receive an SWF for each teaching period. If you are assigned teaching, make sure you receive your SWF according to the contract. You are supposed to get it six full working weeks before the teaching assignment begins. If you don't watch them and insist on correct treatment, we surely can't.
