Information for Picketers - March 23, 2006

1. Accommodation Request Forms must be marked “completed” and signed by a picket captain before submission.
   
   
2. General meetings will be announced on a week-by-week basis. You will be advised by your picket captains of the dates and times.
   
   
3. There will be a general meeting on Wednesday March 29. Location and time will be announced.
   
   
4. Maureen Piercy has told Bernie that replacement workers will not be used at Loyalist College and that “The semester will end on the date that appears in the calendar”.
   
   
5. As a result of safety issues expressed by picketers, Belleville Transit buses will now be entering and exiting the college by the parking lots.
   
   
6. IT IS IMPERATIVE that we do not communicate with students respecting any course material or other work-related issues. There have been reports that some faculty are in contact with students for this purpose. This matter is currently under investigation by the union. Those who are engaging in this behaviour will be subject to a fine.
